Glide along the UNESCO-listed Cinque Terre coastline by private boat, hopping between all five candy-coloured fishing villages and slipping into secret sea-green coves inaccessible by land. An utterly iconic Italian Riviera experience.
What to expect
You depart La Spezia harbour and immediately the Ligurian coastline bursts into view: five impossibly picturesque villages — Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore — each a cascade of ochre, rose, and saffron houses stacked above the turquoise sea. Your skipper anchors in a private cove for a swim, then moors at Vernazza's tiny port for an espresso and fresh focaccia. The boat drifts past the Via dell'Amore sea cliffs and into the emerald waters below Manarola for a final, unforgettable swim stop.
Good to know
La Spezia is the closest cruise port (approx. 10 min to the boat dock). Book at least 3–4 weeks ahead in summer — private charters fill fast. Bring a waterproof bag, reef-safe sunscreen, and a light layer. Confirm all-aboard time and allow 30 min transit buffer back to the ship.
