South Street Seaport Culinary Experience: Waterfront Dining & Cocktails

Savour the flavours of Lower Manhattan at the iconic South Street Seaport, where award-winning waterfront restaurants and craft cocktail bars frame spectacular views of the Brooklyn Bridge. A true taste of New York's culinary confidence.

What to expect

Cabana at the Seaport sits at the water's edge with sweeping views of the East River, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the historic tall ships moored at Pier 17. The menu is built around sophisticated Mexican coastal cuisine — standouts include sautéed shrimp with garlic and white wine, fresh ceviche, and hand-crafted margaritas made with premium agave spirits. The open-air terrace is one of the finest dining settings in all of Manhattan. After lunch, the Seaport's cobblestoned streets invite leisurely exploration of its boutiques, galleries, and the extraordinary Pier 17 rooftop.

Good to know

South Street Seaport is in Lower Manhattan — a 20-minute taxi from Midtown piers or a scenic 30-minute walk along the waterfront. Reservations at Cabana are strongly advised, particularly at lunch on port days. Pair your meal with a walk along Pier 17 and the historic ships before heading back to the ship. Allow 2–3 hours for the full experience.
