Private Sea Turtle Snorkel Safari, Lelepa Marine Reserve

Slip into crystal-clear Vanuatu waters and glide alongside hawksbill sea turtles and kaleidoscopic reef fish in Lelepa's protected marine sanctuary. A private guide keeps the group intimate, the pace unhurried, and the encounters genuine.

What to expect

Your guide leads you by kayak or tender to a secluded reef shelf where green and hawksbill turtles graze on sea grass at depths of 2–5 metres. Vibrant parrotfish, angelfish, and clownfish populate the coral bommies around you. The session lasts approximately 90 minutes, with a fresh coconut and cold towel waiting on the beach at the end. All premium snorkel gear — including prescription masks if needed — is provided and fitted individually before entry.

Good to know

Book at least 48 hours in advance; morning slots (08:30 departure) offer the calmest water and best visibility. The beach meeting point is a 5-minute walk from the main arrival pier. All-aboard is typically late afternoon, giving ample buffer for a 90-minute session plus travel time.
