Private Reef Scuba Dive — Lelepa Underwater Wall & Blue Holes

Descend the dramatic underwater wall off Lelepa's western point with a private PADI dive master, where barrel sponges the size of armchairs and Napoleon wrasse cruise the blue. Then ascend through an ethereal freshwater blue hole rising from the reef floor.

What to expect

Your private dive master conducts a thorough pre-dive briefing aboard the tender, tailoring the dive plan to your certification level and interests. The first tank explores the wall: soft coral fans cascade down to 25 metres, with reef sharks patrolling the blue water column beyond the edge. The second dive targets the blue hole — a rising column of fresh spring water that creates a shimmering, lens-like visual distortion and hosts unique endemic species adapted to the brackish transition zone. Premium Scubapro equipment and dive computers are provided. Post-dive, tropical fruit and hot ginger tea are served on the return tender.

Good to know

A valid PADI Open Water certification (or equivalent) is required; Advanced certification recommended for the wall section. Bring your certification card. Morning departures at 07:30 ensure the clearest visibility. The dive site is a 15-minute tender ride from the Lelepa pier — allow 3.5 hours total and confirm all-aboard time before booking.
