Paddle by kayak into a protected marine reserve at first light, when the water is glass-calm and the coves are entirely yours. Snorkel reefs teeming with colour, then toast the morning with a local breakfast on a private beach.
What to expect
You meet your guide at the water's edge before sunrise, when the reserve is at its most luminous. Kayaking takes roughly 20 minutes to the outer reef, where you slip into the water over a kaleidoscope of posidonia meadows and rocky outcrops. The guide identifies sea life continuously and points out hiding octopus and shy nudibranchs. Afterwards, a fresh local breakfast — pastries, fruit, local honey — is laid out on a sheltered beach.
Good to know
Suitable for confident swimmers; basic snorkel skills sufficient. All equipment provided (high-quality masks, fins, wetsuits in cooler months). Book well ahead — six-person cap means it sells out fast. Early departure ensures return to ship with ample time.
