Trek the Dragon's Back — repeatedly voted Asia's best urban hike — along a dramatic ridge spine with 270-degree views of the South China Sea, remote beaches, and the city skyline, guided privately at your own pace.
What to expect
The trailhead at Shek O Road plunges immediately into dense sub-tropical forest before opening onto the iconic ridge, where the land falls away on both sides to reveal a panorama of outlying islands and open ocean that is startling in its beauty. Your guide points out native raptors riding thermals, pre-war coastal artillery installations, and terraced hillside ruins that speak to centuries of habitation. The descent weaves through the traditional fishing village of Shek O, where you stop at a beloved local café for a cold milk tea and pineapple bun. The private transfer back to the cruise terminal takes 35 minutes, leaving you refreshed and utterly satisfied.
