What to expect
Your private driver collects you from the port in a gleaming vintage Fiat or Mercedes convertible and winds along the Nastro Azzurro — the 'Blue Ribbon' coastal road — pausing at the Vallone di Furore viewpoint, the terraced lemon groves of Ravello, and the belvedere above Positano. You then descend to the harbour, board a private wooden boat, and approach Positano from the water as it was always meant to be seen: a cascade of sun-bleached pastel houses tumbling to a cobalt sea.
