El Faro Lighthouse Climb & Old Mazatlán Historic Walking Tour

Ascend El Faro — one of the world's highest natural lighthouses — for panoramic Pacific views that stretch to the Sierra Madre, then wind through cobblestoned Old Mazatlán with a certified expert guide uncovering 19th-century mansions and hidden plazas.

What to expect

The morning begins at the colonial heart of Old Mazatlán, where your guide weaves 19th-century history through the cathedral, Plazuela Machado, and the ornate Angela Peralta Theater. A pulmonia (Mazatlán's iconic open-air taxi) whisks the group to the base of El Faro for the steep but spectacular summit climb. From the top, the entire Pacific coastline fans out beneath you — an image that defines Mazatlán. The tour concludes with a curated stop for regional ceviche and cold Pacífico beer.
