Hammam Al Ándalus: Traditional Arab Baths Ritual

Submerge in Granada's finest Arabic bathhouse — a restored 11th-century-style hammam beneath the Albaicín — moving through hot, warm, and cold marble pools to the scent of cedarwood and jasmine. Pure al-Andalus sensory restoration.

What to expect

Descend into vaulted stone chambers lit by star-shaped skylights as steam curls across the surface of the thermal pools. The sequence — hot pool, warm pool, cold plunge — is punctuated by mint tea served on a marble ledge. Optional treatments include a traditional kessa exfoliation scrub with black Moroccan soap and a ghassoul clay hair mask. The ambience is hushed, candlelit, and timeless — a deliberate world apart from the city above.
