Spend an exclusive afternoon with a Greenlandic Inuit host family and cultural guide, sharing traditional food, oral storytelling, and hands-on crafts in one of the world's most remote inhabited landscapes. Authentic human connection at the edge of the Arctic.
What to expect
Your local guide — a descendant of the Kalaallit people — welcomes you into a traditional setting where you'll taste mattak (whale skin and blubber), dried Arctic char, and crowberry preserves while hearing sagas passed down across generations. A practising seamstress demonstrates the extraordinary craft of sealskin sewing, and guests are invited to try their hand. The session closes with a drum-dance performance, one of the oldest art forms in the Arctic. The entire experience is intimate, unhurried, and deeply moving.
