Join an expert Arctic photographer on a private late-evening Zodiac voyage to capture the Midnight Sun casting golden fire across Umivik Bay's icebergs. A rare creative expedition at the intersection of art, light, and wilderness.
What to expect
Departing around 10 pm, the Zodiac slips into a bay transformed by the low Midnight Sun, which paints every iceberg in amber, rose, and violet. Your guide — an experienced polar photographer with published Arctic portfolios — positions the craft for optimal compositions, advises on camera settings for extreme-contrast polar light, and knows the bays where ice clusters most dramatically. Seals and seabirds are especially active at this hour. You return with a portfolio of images most travellers only dream of. Duration: approximately 2 hours on the water.
