Charge across towering coastal dunes, ford freshwater lagoons, and roll through fragrant cashew orchards on a private guided dune buggy expedition along the wild Ceará coastline near Cumbuco — the adrenaline highlight of Brazil's northeastern shore.
What to expect
Helmeted and safety-briefed, you pilot (or are driven in) a 1600cc dune buggy straight from the coastal road into a landscape of crescent-shaped dunes and vivid green lagoon water. Your lead guide navigates a curated 35 km circuit taking in Lagoa do Banana, where you can kitesurf or simply float in the warm shallows, and the clifftop belvedere at Pedra do Meio for panoramic ocean views. A roadside cashew farmer demonstrates the nut-to-shell process and serves ice-cold caju juice. The return leg hugs the beach at low tide — wheels kissing the surf line.
