Rio de la Plata Yacht Charter: Private Sunset Sail

Sail the vast, honey-coloured waters of the Río de la Plata aboard a private crewed yacht as the sun sets behind the Buenos Aires skyline — one of South America's most cinematic and rarely experienced vantage points.

What to expect

Depart from the Puerto Madero yacht basin, slipping past the city's postindustrial waterfront into open water. The Río de la Plata is so wide that the opposite shore is invisible — you feel the scale of this extraordinary river system, the world's widest. As the sun drops, the sky turns amber and rose behind the gleaming towers of Puerto Madero and the 19th-century port cranes. Your crew serves Mendoza Torrontés, smoked river fish, and provoleta while the skipper tells the stories of the explorers and gauchos who shaped this river's legend. Return to dock as the city lights ignite.
