What to expect
A private 4×4 collects you from the pier and climbs into the cool, perfumed air of the highland reserve in 40 minutes. Your naturalist leads you along ancient canopy trails, pausing to identify endemic hornbills, iridescent sunbirds, and, if fortune smiles, a troop of rare Lbomo colobus monkeys. A gourmet bush picnic — chilled champagne, artisan charcuterie, local honey — is laid out at a forest viewpoint. Return descends through spice plantations fragrant with cardamom and vanilla.

Moderate fitness required — approx. 4 km of undulating trail. Sturdy shoes and a light rain layer essential; all other equipment provided. Departs 07:30 to catch peak wildlife activity; returns by 13:00. Pre-book private 4×4 transfer when booking the tour.
