What to expect
Pre-dawn pick-up from the pier brings you to the launch meadow just as the sky blushes pink. After a safety briefing, you rise smoothly to 2,000 ft over the island's forested crater ridges, and the pilot narrates the geology and history unfolding beneath you. The one-hour flight concludes with a traditional champagne toast in the field. A freshly prepared tropical breakfast is served before your transfer back to port.
