What to expect
Your naturalist guide meets you with quality binoculars and a field reference for the region's endemic species. The route winds through diverse micro-habitats — coastal scrub, ancient woodland, and open meadow — with the guide reading the landscape for tracks, calls, and movement invisible to untrained eyes. Endemic birds, reptiles, and wildflowers are identified and contextualised with ecological insight that transforms observation into understanding. The walk concludes at a scenic viewpoint with local refreshments.
Good to know
Reserve is a 25-minute drive from the pier; the operator can arrange shared transport. Wear neutral-coloured clothing and sturdy walking shoes. Walk duration is 3–4 hours at an easy-moderate pace. Pre-book 2 weeks in advance; private slots are extremely limited.
