A behind-the-scenes private tour of a working heritage plantation, culminating in a seated tasting led personally by the master blender. Rum, cacao, and centuries of craft in one session.
What to expect
Your private guide meets you at the pier and drives you through sugar-cane countryside to a 17th-century plantation estate still in active production. The master blender personally walks you through the distillation process before leading a seated flight of six aged expressions, paired with single-origin cacao tastings grown on the same estate. A private veranda lunch of local cuisine follows, with a rum cocktail crafted to your palate. You depart with a signed, numbered bottle.
Good to know
Book 2–3 weeks ahead; the master blender's private sessions are limited to two per week. Not suitable for guests who do not consume alcohol — request the cacao-only format at booking. Transfer from pier is approx. 25 minutes each way.
