Join a fifth-generation truffle hunter and his Lagotto Romagnolo dog deep in a private oak forest, then sit down to a multi-course lunch built entirely around the morning's foraged treasures. An utterly intimate, sensory bucket-list experience.
What to expect
A private transfer collects you from the port and winds up into the hills above the coast. The hunt begins at 9 am; the dog does the finding, you do the digging. Back at the stone farmhouse, the family matriarch prepares handmade tagliolini with fresh truffle shavings, followed by local charcuterie, pecorino, and a digestivo. Expect the table to linger — this is southern Italian hospitality at its finest.
Good to know
Book at least 2 weeks ahead — estate dates are limited. Round-trip private transfer from port is approximately EUR 60 extra. Wear sturdy shoes and clothes you don't mind getting earthy. Depart the estate by 3 pm to comfortably make all-aboard.
