Ride into the Kazakh steppe at golden hour on a private camel caravan, arriving at an authentic nomad yurt camp for a candlelit dinner of traditional dastarkhan. An utterly rare encounter with Central Asia's living heritage.
What to expect
Your guide meets you dockside in a private 4WD and drives 40 minutes into the Mangyshlak desert plateau. You mount well-trained Bactrian camels and trek at dusk to a family yurt camp, where the host family serves smoked sturgeon, baursak bread, and kumiss. After dinner, a traditional dombra musician performs under a canopy of stars. Return transfer included.
