Join Kazakhstan's most celebrated regional chef in a private kitchen studio for a hands-on masterclass in Caspian cuisine — smoking local sturgeon, hand-rolling pelmeni, and plating a traditional beshbarmak fit for a khan.
What to expect
The studio is a beautifully appointed space a short drive from the port. Your chef opens with a tasting of Caspian spices and locally foraged herbs, then guides you through three courses. You smoke your own sturgeon fillet over saxaul wood, fold pelmeni dumplings by hand, and assemble beshbarmak — the beloved Kazakh 'five-finger' noodle dish — before sitting down together to eat your creations with paired local wines and sparkling water.
