Pearl Harbor: USS Arizona Memorial & Battleship Missouri

Stand above the sunken USS Arizona at the iconic Pearl Harbor memorial, then walk the deck of the mighty Battleship Missouri where WWII ended. A profound, moving bucket-list encounter with living history.

What to expect

A National Park ranger narrates the 23-minute film before a Navy launch carries you silently over the submerged hull of the Arizona, oil still rising to the surface. Crossing to Ford Island, the battleship Missouri looms enormous — you can stand on the exact spot Japan signed the 1945 surrender. The full experience runs 4–5 hours with both sites.

Good to know

Pearl Harbor is ~45 min drive from Honolulu's Pier 2. Timed boat-tour passes sell out weeks ahead — book the NPS portal the moment your itinerary is confirmed. Allow at least 5–6 hours; all-aboard at most Honolulu calls is 5–6 pm, so a morning departure is essential.
