What to expect
A whisper-quiet electric 4×4 collects you dockside and glides into the reserve along unmaintained tracks that larger vehicles cannot follow. Your naturalist communicates in hushed tones, halting when a purple heron lifts from the reeds or a Moorish gecko suns itself on a ruin wall. Binoculars and a laminated field guide are provided; your guide records every sighting in a shared logbook you take home as a memento. A mid-safari refreshment stop at a shaded grove includes locally produced honey and herbal tea.
