What to expect
Your guide collects you and drives to Santa María del Naranco on a wooded hill above Oviedo — a 9th-century royal hall converted into a church, with breathtaking valley views from its open loggias. You'll continue to San Miguel de Lillo, where original carved marble window screens still filter the light as they did for King Ramiro I. The circuit concludes at Santa Cristina de Lena, a remote hilltop jewel accessible only by a scenic footpath, virtually unknown to international visitors.
