What to expect
Begin in the Heroes & Legends attraction, an emotional tribute to pioneering astronauts narrated by Walter Cronkite. Move through the Apollo/Saturn V Centre, where a fully preserved 363-ft Moon rocket hangs horizontally overhead — the sheer scale is breathtaking. The Up-Close bus tour accesses LC-39 launch pads and the Vehicle Assembly Building exterior, still active in the Artemis programme. Finish at the Shuttle Atlantis exhibit, where the orbiter tilts as if mid-launch just metres above you.

KSC is on Florida's Space Coast, roughly 65–75 miles east of Port Canaveral (25 min) or 60 miles from PortMiami (approx. 1 hr by car). Book the Up-Close or ATX VIP tour directly through the official site well in advance — they sell out. Allow a full 6–7 hours; arrange private transport to ensure on-time return.
