Horseshoe Bay: Bermuda's Pink-Sand Icon & Snorkel Trail

Step onto the world-famous blush-pink sands of Horseshoe Bay, Bermuda's most breathtaking beach. Snorkel the crystal-clear turquoise shallows, explore hidden coves, and soak in the surreal Bermudian seascape — a true bucket-list moment.

What to expect

Horseshoe Bay's blush-pink sands curve around a brilliant turquoise bay flanked by dramatic limestone outcroppings and hidden cove beaches just a short scramble away. The water is warm, calm, and startlingly clear — ideal for snorkelling the reef just off shore. A beachside kiosk offers chairs, umbrellas, and snorkel gear for hire. The walk along the South Shore trail to adjacent secluded beaches adds a wonderfully spontaneous, exploratory dimension.

Good to know

Take the public ferry from Royal Naval Dockyard to Hamilton (BMD 5 each way) then a taxi to Horseshoe Bay (approx. BMD 20), or catch a direct taxi from Dockyard (~BMD 30). Allow at least 3 hours on the beach. All-aboard is typically 5–6 pm; Horseshoe Bay is about 45 minutes from Dockyard — plan your return accordingly.
