Descend into one of the most spectacular natural caverns in the Atlantic — Crystal Cave — where ancient stalactites and stalagmites shimmer above a crystalline underground lake. Pair it with Fantasy Cave for an unrivalled subterranean double bill.
What to expect
You descend a steep staircase into a vast cathedral of limestone, emerging onto a floating pontoon bridge suspended over the clearest underground lake you've ever seen. Stalactites plunge toward their own reflections in water so still and transparent it looks like glass. The guide's narration weaves geology, history, and Bermudian folklore seamlessly together. Fantasy Cave next door offers a more intimate, jewel-box chamber dripping with pristine formations.
Good to know
Pre-book online at caves.bm — tickets do sell out on busy port days. Caves are located in Hamilton Parish, approximately 40 minutes from Dockyard by taxi (approx. BMD 45–55 one way). Allow 2 hours for both caves. Wear non-slip, closed-toe shoes; the pontoon bridge can be slightly slippery. Book the first or second morning slot to avoid crowds.
