Colonial Quarter Deep-Dive: Private History & Architecture Walk

A scholarly local historian leads you through Wethlob's UNESCO-listed colonial quarter, unlocking centuries of layered history behind doors that are closed to general visitors. Architecture, intrigue, and storytelling at their finest.

What to expect

The tour begins at the ornate fort gate and winds through cobbled lanes past merchant townhouses, a beautifully restored Anglican cathedral, and a hidden rum cellar dating to 1743. At each stop your historian weaves in stories of trade, rebellion, and everyday colonial life. The walk concludes with a private rum tasting in the cellar, paired with locally made preserves.
