What to expect
A short transfer from port takes you to the Highland Equestrian stables, where your horse is chosen to match your experience level. You ride steadily upward through heather and ancient woodland before breaking onto an open ridge with a 180° fjord panorama. Your guide shares the folklore of the landscape and points out nesting raptors overhead. The descent follows a different trail through a hidden valley before returning to the stables for warming refreshments.
