Private Hot-Air Balloon over Luxor's Valley of the Kings

Float silently at dawn over the West Bank of Luxor as the sun ignites the Theban Hills and the Valley of the Kings stretches below you — pharaonic tombs, temples, and the Nile gleaming in the morning light. A once-in-a-lifetime perspective.

What to expect

A 5 a.m. Nile-side pickup brings you to the launch site as ground crews inflate the vivid envelope in pre-dawn darkness. You climb into your private basket, rise with the sun, and spend 45–60 minutes drifting over one of the world's greatest concentrations of ancient monuments. Your pilot points out Medinet Habu, the Ramesseum, and individual royal tomb entrances far below. A traditional Egyptian breakfast and Champagne are served after landing.

Good to know

Flights are weather-dependent; operators notify you by 4 a.m. if conditions are unsuitable. Book directly and in advance as private baskets are limited. Luxor is typically a Nile river cruise port, not an ocean cruise port, but is served by some expedition and world-voyage itineraries — confirm your all-aboard time carefully.
