A private 4x4 ascent into Awrcn's highland ridges for sweeping coastal panoramas, remote villages, and a driver-guide who knows every switchback.
What to expect
Your driver-guide collects you near the pier in a rugged open-sided 4x4 and climbs steadily into the highlands, stopping at overlooks with views stretching to the harbor and open sea. You'll pass through a small village where locals still work the land much as generations before, with time to chat and browse a family-run stand. The final overlook is the highlight — a sweeping panorama ideal for unhurried photos. The descent takes a quieter route back to town.
Good to know
Dress in layers; highlands can be cooler and windier than the port. Round trip runs about 3 hours door-to-door, comfortably within most port windows.
