Step inside GaudÃ's unfinished masterpiece before the crowds, then climb a tower for rooftop views over Barcelona's rooftops and sea.
What to expect
You'll pass through security into a nave awash in stained-glass color, with a guide or audio guide unpacking the symbolism in every column and vault. The tower elevator ride and spiral stair descent reward you with panoramic views rarely seen at ground level. Allow roughly two hours for the full basilica-plus-tower experience.
Good to know
Book the earliest available slot (often 9am) to beat crowds and heat; towers require a specific timed ticket booked separately in advance. It's a 15-minute metro or taxi ride from the port, so plan to be back at least 90 minutes before all-aboard.
