Should You Do the Broadway Pedal Tavern in Nashville?

The Broadway pedal tavern is basically a giant 15-person party bike you pedal (or not) while drinking your way down Nashville’s honky-tonk strip. Expect loud music, constant stops at bars, lots of neon, and a very loose group vibe. Some people pedal hard, most just sit and drink while the vehicle moves. It’s equal parts exercise, bar crawl, and rolling spectacle. You’ll get waved at, honked at, and photographed by tourists the whole time. It’s fun if your group is in the mood to be the entertainment; it can feel exhausting if you’re hungover or just want a quiet night.

Best time is spring or fall. Summer is brutally hot and humid while you’re pedaling; winter is cold once the sun drops. Aim for late afternoon or early evening tours so you hit Broadway when it’s lively but not yet completely chaotic. Expect to pay around $45–$65 per person for a 2-hour tour that includes the bike rental and a few bar stops. Drinks are on you and add up fast.

Honest tips: Pick a mid-week tour if possible; weekends get overcrowded and the bike gets stuck in traffic. Skip the “all-you-can-drink” packages — you’re better off buying drinks at the bars where you actually want to hang out. Bring water, wear comfortable shoes you don’t mind getting sticky, and don’t be the person who overdoes it in the first 30 minutes.
