Expect a fast-paced couple of hours gliding between platforms high in the dry tropical forest canopy. Most tours run 8–12 lines ranging from short beginner runs to longer, faster ones with views over the hills. You'll be harnessed, helmeted, and briefed on brakes; the staff handle your lines so you mostly just enjoy the ride, scream a bit, and sweat. The combo versions often add a water slide or short horseback ride afterward. It's fun but not life-changing—solid adventure if you like heights and want an active half-day.
Best time is December to April when it's dry and the forest is crisp; June–October is greener but you'll get rained on and the trails turn muddy. Expect to pay around $70–110 per person for a standard zipline tour, $110–160 if it includes lunch, transport from Liberia, and an extra activity. Hotel pickup from the Liberia area usually adds little or nothing.
Pick a morning tour so you're not rushing in the midday heat. Skip the add-on horseback ride if you're short on time or energy—most horses just walk a dusty loop. Bring closed-toe shoes that can get dirty, bug spray, and a dry shirt for afterward.
