The buses run frequently enough during daylight hours but can feel slow in heavy traffic. Audio is available in English and several other languages. It's not thrilling, but it's an easy, low-effort way to get your bearings on day one or two of a trip.

Best time to do it is the dry season (December to April) when you’re far less likely to get soaked by a sudden downpour on the open deck.
