Expect a mix of walking on dusty paths, standing in the sun, and short drives between sites. The experience is calm and informative rather than thrilling; it’s a pleasant contrast to the intensity of the medina but rarely life-changing. Most people enjoy it most when they actually like gardens and history.

Best time is spring (March–May) when everything is green and the temperature is comfortable. Autumn (October–November) is the second choice. Skip summer unless you love 40 °C heat.
