Miniature golf is one of the few activities in Orlando where you can actually relax and have a laugh without massive crowds or long lines. Expect 18-hole courses packed with cartoonish obstacles, waterfalls, caves, and moving parts that range from charming to ridiculous. Most courses are well-maintained, take 45-75 minutes to play, and work surprisingly well as a low-key evening activity after a theme park day. The experience is generally family-friendly, mildly competitive, and far more chill than anything else on International Drive.

Best time is late afternoon or right after sunset, especially from October to April when the weather is pleasant. Summer evenings are still doable but hot and humid until after dark. Expect to pay around $18–28 per person for one round; most places charge a bit more for adults than kids. Add a few bucks if you want glow-in-the-dark or a second course.

Pick courses that lean into fun themes without trying too hard (tropical or adventure styles usually deliver). Skip anything advertising itself as “extreme” or “world’s hardest” — they’re often just frustrating. If you enjoy it, doing two different courses back-to-back in one evening is a solid, inexpensive way to stretch the night without burning out.
