You sit at tables in a relatively small, dimly lit venue (usually 30-80 seats) while professional dancers and singers perform traditional flamenco. Expect 50-70 minutes of passionate guitar, cante, and intense dance, often with two or three artists rotating. The food is decent Spanish fare — think gazpacho or salad, grilled meat or fish, dessert, and a drink. It’s touristy by nature but still delivers real flamenco if you pick the right place. The atmosphere is more intimate than a big theater but less authentic than a spontaneous late-night session in a bar.

Best time is September to May; July and August get hot and the quality can dip with the tourist wave. Evening shows start around 7pm or 9pm. Expect to pay around €55-€95 per person depending on how close you sit, whether it’s a special menu, and if the package includes premium drinks. The cheaper end (€50-65) is perfectly fine for most travelers.
