Slotzilla Zipline in Las Vegas: Worth It?

The Slotzilla zipline runs right down the middle of the Fremont Street Experience, launching from a 17-story tower and giving you either a seated “fly like Superman” ride or a face-down “Superman” version. It’s quick – about 30 seconds in the air – but the views of the neon canopy and the crowd below are genuinely fun. You’ll get weighed, harnessed, and sent off in batches. The whole thing is efficient but feels very theme-park. After you land, you’re dropped right into the middle of the pedestrian mall with its lights, music, and street performers. It’s not life-changing, but it’s a solid 10-minute thrill if you like heights.

Best time is spring or fall. Summer nights are brutally hot even after dark, and winter can get chilly once the sun drops. Go at dusk or shortly after – you get the daylight views on the way up plus the glowing canopy on the ride down. Expect to pay around $50–$70 for a single ride and $80–$110 if you add the second, higher “zipline” from the top of the tower. The combo ticket is usually the smarter buy.

Tip: Skip the basic lower line if you’re only doing it once and go straight for the upper “Slotzilla” experience – it’s noticeably better. Skip the overpriced photo packages; your phone works fine once you’re back on the ground. Wear closed-toe shoes and skip the flip-flops.
