Expect crowds, honking scooters, porters carrying 50-kilo loads on their heads, and aggressive touts. The experience is chaotic, fragrant, and genuinely fascinating for 30-45 minutes. It's not a calm sightseeing spot; it's a working wholesale market where most customers are shopkeepers from across India. The colors and smells are unforgettable, but it can feel overwhelming if you're not ready for the noise and constant sales pressure.

Best time is October to March when Delhi's weather is coolest. Avoid May-June (scorching) and July-August (monsoon humidity makes the narrow lanes miserable). Go early morning (8-10am) before it gets too packed.
