ARTIS is one of the five oldest zoos in the world, located in Amsterdam's city center, where visitors encounter animals and plants from across the globe alongside 26 historic monuments and a Planetarium. The venue also features two interactive museums: Micropia, the world's first museum dedicated to microbes, and the Groote Museum, which explores how humans, animals, plants, and microbes share one ecosystem.
