This museum recreates the childhood and adolescent home of Nobel Prize-winning author Gabriel García Márquez, featuring 14 rooms characteristic of early 20th-century Caribbean houses. The house was reconstructed according to descriptions in García Márquez's memoir "Vivir para Contarla" and opened to the public in 2010. Visitors explore the spaces and learn about the writer's life, family, and work through exhibits developed by academic experts and the Nacional Museum.
