The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, commonly called the New Cathedral of Cuenca, is a church in Cuenca, Ecuador featuring three giant domes covered in striking blue and white glazed tiles from Czechoslovakia. Construction began in 1885 and took 83 years to complete, combining Romanesque Revival, Neo-Gothic, Baroque Revival, and Byzantine Revival architectural styles with a facade of alabaster and local marble.
