Moss Landing State Beach is a day-use state beach north of the Moss Landing fishing port, offering picnicking, fishing, surfing, windsurfing, and horseback riding with protection from afternoon winds provided by dunes. The beach provides scenic panoramic views of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary and is an important stop along the Pacific Flyway for birdwatching.
