A 7-hectare botanical garden housing 6,000 species of trees and plants native to Argentina and other regions, featuring Roman, French, and oriental gardens along with five greenhouses including an art nouveau structure from the 1900 Paris Universal Exposition. Visitors walk through regionally organized plant collections, view sculptures, and explore an English-style house hosting temporary art exhibitions, while the grounds also contain a botanical library, herbarium, and the city's gardening school founded by French landscaper Charles Thays in 1898.
