Nea Kameni is a small, uninhabited volcanic island located within the Santorini caldera in Greece, formed over the past two millennia through repeated eruptions of lava and ash. Visitors climb a gravel path to reach the top of the 130-meter-high volcanic crater and complete a full circuit of the rim, observing active sulfur vents and volcanic features.
