Founded in 1912, the Newport Art Museum is one of the oldest continuously operating art museums in the country, housing approximately 3,000 works spanning American art, contemporary art, photography, and decorative arts from the 18th century to present. Visitors explore rotating exhibitions, attend classes and workshops through the Museum School, and participate in public programs and community events.
