The Rector's Palace is a historic palace in Dubrovnik that served as the seat of the Rector of the Republic of Ragusa from the 14th century until 1808, also housing the Minor Council, state administration, an armory, powder magazine, watch house, and prison. Built in Gothic style with Renaissance and Baroque elements, the palace has been damaged and reconstructed multiple times following fires and earthquakes. Today it houses the Cultural History Museum and contains the History Department of the Museum of Dubrovnik.
