Lamb House is the Georgian home where Anglo-American author Henry James lived from 1897 until his death in 1916, now owned by the National Trust and open for visits. Visitors can explore the intimate rooms where James wrote three of his most acclaimed novels—The Wings of the Dove, The Ambassadors, and The Golden Bowl—including the Green Room where he dictated his work to his secretary. The red brick Georgian mansion offers a glimpse into the life and creative process of one of literature's greatest psychological realists during his most prolific period.
