
Shelby Bottoms is a 960-acre greenway and natural area in East Nashville featuring bottomland hardwood forests, wetlands, and three miles of Cumberland River frontage that provide habitat for birds, amphibians, and deer. Visitors can explore over five miles of paved ADA-accessible trails for hiking, biking, and wildlife watching, or use primitive trails for walking and nature exploration. The site includes a nature center with free educational programs and exhibits on the cultural and natural history of the area.
