Strahov Library comprises two magnificent Baroque halls—the Theological Hall (built 1670s) and Philosophical Hall (built 1790s)—housing over 200,000 volumes of rare books, manuscripts, and historical texts within a Prague monastery. Visitors explore ornately decorated chambers featuring frescoes depicting biblical wisdom, original carved wooden cartouches, a 17th-century compilation wheel, globes from the Blaeu workshop, and a monumental ceiling painting by Anton Maulbertsch, witnessing centuries of European intellectual and artistic heritage.
